The island of Moorea is a paradisiacal place, easily accessible by ferry from the Papeete ferry terminal.
If the white sand beaches are magnificent, this small island is also very mountainous and suitable for hiking.
The Opunohu bay is ideal for enjoying incredible views of the lagoon and the bays,
but also to discover the pineapple fields. The trails are generally very well marked and maintained.
For waterfall lovers, several are accessible towards Afareaitu.
